I was talking someone yesterday, and it came up about how some builders get their mentions in various blogs. It is always a good feeling to have your work recognized. The problem often is, you only tend to hear about the so-called “in crowd” builders, or as some would say the “FIC” of the building world. There is some truth to this, I’ve seen many a forum post where someone asks, who’s the best of the best, and all the usual suspects get named. There’s nothing wrong with that, They have reached such status oftentimes on their own merits It’s true. But there are so many builders who’s work and dedication are just as worthy of praise and accolade, but simply because they aren’t ‘known’, they never get any.
So I think I’m going to do my small part to change that. Ever since I joined SL, I’ve made a point of roaming about and seeking out the nooks and crannies of Second Life, and I’ve found a lot of wonderful things I just never hear about. So today or tomorrow I will start what I hope will be my semi-regular feature of someone *I* think is deserving of some recongnition. Of course It will be completely biased, and no, don’t bother sending suggestions. 
It’s time some of the deserving underdogs of SL had their 15 minutes, here on my blog. It’s not much, I know. But at least you can strut around for a day and say “omg, i’ve been blogged!”.
